Is your data ready for process mining?
Process mining shows from event logs how the work really runs — the evidence of measurement, not of statements. But not every dataset is ready for it, and an analysis made with data that is not ready produces false confidence. See where you stand in sixteen questions; if you are not ready, we say so plainly.
Tool
This tool calculates the result on MindDX Platform.
When you start the test, the same tool opens on MindDX Platform; the questions, the result and the privacy are the same. After the result you can come back to this page to read the interpretation and the recommended next step.
The tools ask for no sign-up or e-mail. Your answers are used to produce the test result.
What it measures
Three question groups, one honest answer.
Is there data, is it usable, and is the organisation ready to share it? Without all three, the analysis ends before it starts.
Case ID, activity, timestamp, volume and period: the physical preconditions of process mining.
Duplicate and missing records, inconsistent naming and time zones: the reliability of the result.
Access, personal-data consent, process owner and cleaning cost: whether the work can start.
Four possible results
Process evidence and partner technology
MindDX uses ProcessMind as partner technology in process intelligence and process mining work. Process visibility is produced with partner technology; the evaluation of the evidence, the findings, the scope and the decision stay with MindDX.

Readiness is the precondition of evidence.
In Assess, where appropriate, process evidence turns from event logs into a current-state view, and every finding is tied to its source. If you are not ready, Assess builds the evidence from documents, reports, screen recordings and interviews.

FAQQuestions
Frequently asked questions
An analysis that derives the real flow of processes from your systems’ event logs — with a case ID, an activity and a timestamp. It shows not the declared process but how the work really runs: bottlenecks, exceptions and waiting steps.
If there is no case ID, activity name or timestamp, process mining is physically impossible. Even with data, the work cannot start without access to the system or consent to share personal data. In both cases the result is “not ready yet”.
No. We do not recommend process mining for data that is not ready; a false positive costs both your budget and your trust. The test first states what is missing and shows the appropriate first step.
